Afghanistan has reported 35,289 cases and 1,147  deaths and 23,243 recoveries from coronavirus in Saarc regions at 15:00 pm till Saturday (Bangladesh Time), according to latest data from worldometer.

India is the hardest-hit country in the regions with  26,295 deaths and 654,193 recoveries from 1,040,948cases.

Pakistan is the second worst-hit Saarc country with 5,522 deaths and 198,509 recoveries from 261,916cases.

Bangladesh is the third hardest-hit country in the regions with 2,581 deaths and 110,098 recoveries from 202,066 cases. So far, the active cases are 89,387 in the country.

Among other COVID-19 affected countries in the Saarc regions, Maldives has gone up to 15 deaths, followed by Sri Lanka with 11 and Nepal 40, worldometer reported.

Bhutan has reported no death from coronavirus. A total of 87 cases of Covid-19 have been detected while 78 patients have been considered recovered in the country.
